time passes..

i'm not going to follow the whole winamp legacy of releases anymore, but yah there's a new one. =)

i've got a new phone, sony ericsson k750i. it's pretty nice, naturally since it's not a usa domestic phone some of the features aren't supported. it's got a 2mp camera, mp3 playing capabilities, fm radio (neat) and it's a triband gsm. when i record movies it saves in .mov extension, it also seems to support svgs (geek points there) as well as png (more geek points). standard jpg is there, also another compressed video format.. with 32 megs in the phone and it coming with a 64 meg memorystick duo (supporting up to 1gig) that's a good amount of pictures and mp3s you can tote around in it. it also has a really good speaker (so you can really crank it up).. all and in it's a fun new phone/toy.

since i can use mp3 files as ringtones ive been experimenting with snippets off music store sites, usually they have enough that you can make a good ringtone with what was provided as the sample. see juno records for what i mean.

programming wise i've been busy with work, but with a small bug in plext+xspf i'll probably get into that codebase within this week and make a new release.
