so a couple days of droid
i think this is possibly the best mobile phone i've used, the integration work between the google apps catalog (mail/talk/voice/maps), android specific services + 3rd party applications (contacts/facebook/photos/dialer) is so close to seamless it just feels right.
where android is lacking starts with it's userbase, along with the app store not having a good push for games. iphone/ipod still has this way over android. one thing that makes things hard, just like back in the cell phone days (take the verizon app store) is that even if an application runs on a phone, the processor and other stats on each phone makes a different experience. it's a moving target like when we used to program releases from win95-win2000.
but i hope to see some more games and other applications that work as seamless as i've seen can be done now that the userbase of android should be spiking considerably with the verizon offerings from motorola (droid) and htc (eris)
i'm trying to figure out just what application/game i'm going to tackle for this system. i won't just do something small like a flashlight application and release it, that's getting lame.
