old hardware...

so i'm hoping it's just a simple problem, but the monitor in the vert setup went out last night while john and bob were playing some battle bakraid.

seeing that i know little about monitors i'm looking for input, dave k @ shmups indicates that a total loss of picture normally isnt a capacitor related issue. starting from the top would be checking the power and seeing if any fuses have blown to the monitor power / on the neckboard.

not sure when i'll get around to that, dang thing is heavy.

seeing that this requires some disassembly of the cab, i need to clean this one anyway. i might also look at putting in the new jamma harness i have, since this harness is showing it's age.
