gp2x power supply

power adapter available from play-asia

so i had this converter i thought would work with the power cord for the gp2x adapter. i'm guessing its a korean standard plug, which doesn't like my adapter i have for a hong kong device... i guess i've been schooled.

Hong Kong 220V 50 Hz
Korea, South 220V 60 Hz

so the power is close.. however they are different plugs..

so looks like i've gotta go find an adapter or a figure 8 plug cord instead of using this korean plug cord. see, the dc converter has a removable cord, allowing me to find a plug that will work. the dc adapter takes a figure 8 (two rounded sides) much like a japanese playstation does (while american playstations take a square/rounded plug).. since the dc adapter will take 110-220V this is probably the best option.

i'll probably opt to do whatever comes easier, cause im lazy. i'm also giving the world a chance to stop with the non-matching energy deliveries and come up with a standard to match by say... 2010.
